Pending Adoption Pending :)

in Murphy

murphinthesnow Murphy doesn’t officially have an adoption pending yet, but I think he will quite shortly. A local couple has applied to adopt him after they – and their Shiba – met him at a Shiba meetup. They’re on vaca this week and when they return the application approval process (home visit and such) will move forward.

I will let everyone know what happens!

Great, and he gets a buddy too which seems to be a good thing for him. And it means that if there is another Shiba out there needing a foster home in Indiana there will be a place for them.

So…. the adoption… worked? =)

Waiting to see actually. The couple in question already has a young male Shiba. They are great; their dog is great; Murphy likes them and the dogs get along. They are not sure they’re ready for two young males at once though! (Understandable.)

They are temp fostering Murphy for me while I’m in NYC this week though, so we’ll see how they feel when I get home and it’s time to give him back. :)

He’s a great looking dog. Wish we could help, but as of now we have 2 Shiba’s in an apartment and it would be a little too much energy for our little place :) We have a female who is the twin of him. From the overall color, the salt and pepper face, the floppier tale, and the way he holds his front feet. My wife and I did about 6 or 7 takes when we saw him. Good luck in finding him a wonderful home!!

He is so cute..

But i understand not wanting two shibas so close in age and maturity together in the same home. the shibas would take over!!

There is a home somewhere out there for him.. i just know it

We have our 2 with just 3 months difference and certain times of the day it is chaos. So will Murphy be moving with you?

What’s the update on Murphy? My friend, Bill, is still interested as far as I know. He thinks he’s found one at a shelter in Northern Indiana too. Not sure when he’s planning to go look.
