october announcements

hey anipals! sekurity captain snickers here.

i haz a few sekurity announcements from october before i start the planning for november.

• first, the ofishul sekurity report for october is posted over on documentashun officer lexi-lou’s blog. go check it out.
• unfortunately must announce that officers frosty and dew haz been demoted back to cadet due to not reporting for duty at october pawpawty. officers frosty and dew sincerely apologize for leaving pawpawty unprotected though so haz not been removed from sekurity team
• pawty jail bail: starting at november pawpawty if anipals are thrown in pawty jail they can pay bail to get out early. iz totally up to anipal if they pay and how much they pay, not up to sekurity officers. (this is all in fun and to raise money for animal charity after all). to pay bail, you make donation on offishul donation page for pawpawty charity and let your arresting officer know. cadets and junior officers cannot make arrests.

now, ize also want to cover one more thing before starting november skedule… why do we have pawpawty sekurity??? i think some anipals and maybe even some officers are a little confused about why we haz sekurity at pawpawty. well, i tell you the two whys.

1. the first why is because me and mom thought it would help the pawty make more money for charity if somepals job was to tweet the donation link every now and then and also to explain to newcomers what the pawty is and help answer questions
2. the second why is storytelling. i realized at my first pawty that anipals are super good role players and comes up with lots of fun things to do together at pawpawty. sometimes they even make up crazy shenanigans just to get sekurity involved! BOL. since pawpawty happens over 24 hours, it is fun to have report of some of the silliness for peeples and anipals to read later.
3. those are the two big whys. it is also our job to notify @spam if some spammer or nekkid lady tweeter starts using our hashtag to get attention. we only report for real spammers, not just peeples that anipals might not like or somethin like that

there is a lot of things that sekurity is not. those are the things that sekurity is. i hopes that clears up any confusions.

this month’s #pawpawty theme is Black Tie (formal wear) and the charity is Sunny Harbour Cat & Kitten Rescue in Scotland.

SEKURITY FORCE DUTIES
pawpawty sekurity force job description is as follows:

• when you report for duty, tweet the officer you are replacing and let them know you are reporting in. shift schedule is posted below!
• tweet the following (or something similar) several times during your shift: welcome! have you paid your #pawpawty cover charge (donation) yet? donate to this months charity here (url)
• also helpful to occasionally tweet something like if you are new to #pawpawty and need assistance please see sekurity. we cans help
• be sure no one puts the bitey on anyone else ^-,-^
• take reports of misdeeds. make arrests only if necessary to protect safety of anipals (this is the fun part and how we end up with funny incident report later). please include extra hashtag #ppsr in all reports so the documentation officer can find and compile them. ONLY ADD #PPSR TO ITEMS FOR THE REPORT
• put on snarly face to chase off spammers if needed
• haz good time (no niptinis or barkaritas on duty though. sorries!)!
• overlapping shifts is fine! showing up to help out during another officer’s shift is also fine! the more the merrier.
• when your shift is over, make sure you hand off duty to your replacement with tweet of current sekurity conditions.

RECRUITING
pawpawty sekurity force is recruiting officers for december pawpawty and beyond. must be willing to commit to at least one two hour shift of peace keeping and reporting during pawpawty. any anipal interested in volunteering for sekurity force should contact Captain Snickers or Sergeant Shawnee. (sorry humans, only anipals can join sekurity force)
