SERGEANT SHAWNEE SHEP PROMOTED TO LIEUTENANT: the pawpawty sekurity team was founded in june 2009. shawnee was one of the first three officers. by july she had already been promoted to sergeant in recognition of actions above and beyond call of dooty. shawnee haz continued to show her dedication to the pawpawty sekurity team month after month.

1. shawnee haz never missed a pawpawty or an assigned shift
2. shawnee was in charge of sekurity in absence of captain snickers in the month of october and did fabulous job
3. shawnee sews our grate uniforms every months
4. shawnee always has grate and friendly attitude wif everyone. she pawtekts and serves!

in light of her dedication and contribution to the team, shawnee is now lieutenant shawnee shep. congratulashuns shawnee!!

junior officer buddy bentley almost kicked off force: after being promoted from cadet to junior officer last month, buddy was AWOL during january #pawpawty, completely missing his skeduled sekurity shift. sargeant shawneeshep came up with good punishment for buddy that helps everybody! junior officer buddy had to wear a special dunce cap made my the sarge until he could recrewt a new team member for sekurity! buddy recrewted cadet hellahedgie and was able to take the cap off in time for the super bowl festivities.

cadet smokey promoted: after two months of grate service as cadet (and filling in as dokumentashun officer as well during first month) cadet smokey is now officer smokey. congratulations smokey. we glad you joined the team!

cadet mace promoted: cadet mace did a GRATE job last month and haz been promoted from cadet to officer. officer mace is a wonderful addition to sekurity team as he is big and scary and has previous sekurity experience!

cadet recrewting: we haz a FABULOUS sekurity team, but we dont have quite enough anipals to cover every shift each month. we needs one or two more cadets to fill out the team! read duties below and contact captain snickers if you would like to volunteer. sekurity team is fun! oh, and we provide snazzy uniform every month!

new dokumentashun officer starts this month: our wonderful, original dokumentashun officer @lexiloudog went to the rainbow bridge last month. cadet smokey helped us last month, but now we haz a new dedicated dokumentashun officer to write monthly sekurity report. lexi lou’s sisfur buttons (@busybuttons) has volunteered to take over these duties. we know she will do a great job!

new officer transfer: cadet mace (@CheckPointMace) haz joined sekurity team. mace is big doberman dog and has patrol experience so will only be "cadet" for one month. pls do welcome mace to the team!

tonight on twitter, lexi’s mom wrote that lexi-lou "had a lot of health problems… The stress of the vet visit today must have triggered an underlying heart problem… she suffered acute congestive heart failure and a pulmonary embolism. Rushed her to the vet around 5:00 CST… She went over RB around 6:00 CST, in my arms. My poor baby girl."

i haz a few sekurity announcements from october before i start the planning for november.

• first, the ofishul sekurity report for october is posted over on documentashun officer lexi-lou’s blog. go check it out.
• unfortunately must announce that officers frosty and dew haz been demoted back to cadet due to not reporting for duty at october pawpawty. officers frosty and dew sincerely apologize for leaving pawpawty unprotected though so haz not been removed from sekurity team
• pawty jail bail: starting at november pawpawty if anipals are thrown in pawty jail they can pay bail to get out early. iz totally up to anipal if they pay and how much they pay, not up to sekurity officers. (this is all in fun and to raise money for animal charity after all). to pay bail, you make donation on offishul donation page for pawpawty charity and let your arresting officer know. cadets and junior officers cannot make arrests.

now, ize also want to cover one more thing before starting november skedule… why do we have pawpawty sekurity??? i think some anipals and maybe even some officers are a little confused about why we haz sekurity at pawpawty. well, i tell you the two whys.

1. the first why is because me and mom thought it would help the pawty make more money for charity if somepals job was to tweet the donation link every now and then and also to explain to newcomers what the pawty is and help answer questions
2. the second why is storytelling. i realized at my first pawty that anipals are super good role players and comes up with lots of fun things to do together at pawpawty. sometimes they even make up crazy shenanigans just to get sekurity involved! BOL. since pawpawty happens over 24 hours, it is fun to have report of some of the silliness for peeples and anipals to read later.
3. those are the two big whys. it is also our job to notify @spam if some spammer or nekkid lady tweeter starts using our hashtag to get attention. we only report for real spammers, not just peeples that anipals might not like or somethin like that

there is a lot of things that sekurity is not. those are the things that sekurity is. i hopes that clears up any confusions.
