I guess I forget – because he has such a big personality and heart – but just now I turned the corner into my room and saw Snick sleeping (and shedding) on the corner of my bed and thought “Gee, he’s really quite small.” So, I went over and gave him hugs and snuggles and kisses just for being so cute and wonderful. Of course, that woke him up and put an end to my leisurely afternoon (because now he wants to eat, play, walk, something.)

ROFLMAO! I have to think twice about doing that sometimes, cause you have to appreciate the peace and quiet you get when a shiba is asleep!
I just had to yell at Wolf, you know how they get sometimes, all overexcited and panting…GO LAY DOWN!!!
Wolf’s still shedding too…I’m surprised he has any fur left on his body! Everywhere I look, there are little shiba-bunnies all over the house, under the table, the chairs LOL!

Sumi had to go to the groomer last weekend. She was shedding CHUNKS of hair, it was so bad. When the groomer called us to come get her, she said “You can come get your screaming dog, now.” I thought, “We’re banned.” But, I guess Sumi was just being her usual Shiba self, aka Drama Queen. The groomer said she was quite friendly.
But, I have to watch waking her up, too. Because then it becomes “Let’s go play fetch!” Are Wolf or Snick at all interested in fetch? Most Shibas seem to think it’s beneath them.

I figured out when Snick was a puppy that if I give him something really yummy to chew on when he’s too excited and he’ll settle down.
And, yeah Lachlan, he mostly thinks fetch is beneath him. He’ll sit on the bench at the dog run and watch the ball dogs with clear disdain. However, there have been times when someone would show up with a magic toy that he couldn’t resist and then he’ll play fetch with a fervor. It’s random, seldom and amusing.

Awww….cute. Speaking of random and amusing, you’ll have to check out my latest post. Never a dull moment in this house!
