Actually, YESTERDAY was her Gotcha Day. August 5, 2011, we drove all the way to Knoxville, TN, and back to bring this little Shiba girl home.
When we adopted her, she was young, skittish, and super energetic. She’s grown up a lot in the last year. She’s still insanely energetic, but she has learned when it’s time to be crazy and when it’s time to be calm. She’s learned the rules of the house (and of the pack) and she’s even started SNUGGLING sometimes. She keeps Secret company during the day and she plays like gangbusters with Snickers. She’s definitely our perfect third Inu and I’m grateful we were able to adopt her.
